The Rudd Government luxury on car tax has been rejected by the Senate.  But it will be re-introduced.

If passed, it will apply from 1st July 2008.

So, if you buy a luxury car (i.e. cost over $57,123) do you want to pay the extra 8% tax on a law that hasn’t been passed?

There are solutions, but is this fiasco really necessary?
